Bush said this. Is this guy serious? People lost loved ones to HIS war. How about all the victims of Katrina and his crony bullshit? This guy is definitely drinking. Its been a good year for chucklenuts because his oil stocks probably went up.

hope you all have a happy holiday. This has been a year of strong progress toward a freer, more peaceful world, and a prosperous America. We had three sets of elections in Iraq. This is an amazing moment in the history of liberty. A new parliament has been seated in Afghanistan. Our economy is strong and getting stronger; people are working, we've added 4.5 million new jobs since April of 2003; productivity is up; small businesses are flourishing; home ownership is high. It's been a good year for the American people.

We've got a lot of work to do. Yesterday and during this past week, the Congress acted in a wise way with the taxpayer's money; fiscally responsible set of appropriations bills that were passed that funded important priorities, key priorities -- to make sure our troops have what they need to do their job. The DOD bill did just that. Another key priority is to make sure the people in the Gulf Coast of our country get the help they need to help rebuild New Orleans and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. And there is a good deal of money available for those who suffered from Katrina and Rita.

It appears to me that the Congress understands we've got to keep the Patriot Act in place, that we're still under threat, there's still an enemy that wants to harm us and they understand the Patriot Act is an important tool for those of us here in the executive branch to use to protect our fellow citizens. The Senate extended the Patriot Act by six months.

As we head into the holiday season I do want to say to the families of those who have got a loved one deployed overseas, we stand with you and we pray with you for the safety of your loved one. We want to send our greetings to your loved one overseas and tell him how much we appreciate you serving for the cause of freedom and peace.

Anyway, I hope you all have a great holiday. Thank you very much

10. No doubt he is hitting the sauce...
Without hearing him say this sentence, check out the wording:

"We want to send our greetings to your loved one (?) overseas and tell him how much we appreciate you serving for the cause of freedom and peace."

Now I know the "queers" arent allowed officially in the military, but did Georgie forget about the women, or should I say "girls"? Also, George there is more than 1 soldier in Iraq. He should just let Laura speak for him and he can just sit there and grin and chuckle and swig.

2. Just goes to show what I've thought for a long time.

Just about anything he says, you can take it and believe the opposite.

Then you'll have the truth.

WAR IS PEACE
FREEDOM IS SLAVERY
IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH

9. Wasn't that bad really
His attempts to f with social security failed totally, the CIA outing and the Abramoff scandals gained momentum, Tom Delay received his first of many indictments, Frist is under investigation for insider trading, his poll numbers went into the crapper, now many Americans are waking up to how incompetent this whole gang is.

It may be remembered as the year we caught on. Although some in New Orleans may dispute that it's been a good year.

12. After I drop my jewelry off for cleaning, dahling, I'll refill my Escalade
and do some more shopping.

Oh, I must get a new "W" sticker to replace the old one. Three more years of prosperity and freedom for me and my friends in our gated community.

I'm so excited I could go shopping again!

13. Why dont you just have your driver
take the maid to the store and let them fill your tank and pick up your Christmas gifts. Thats what they are there for? No? You can fix your stock portfolio while there out or maybe go to the spa...

I hope one of those pesky Minutemen doesn't give Jorge any problems.

14. Hey, give the guy a break.
It has been a good year for his Americans. Do you have any idea how much they profited in 2005?

And, as long as Bush can keep people hating America, we'll keep having terrorists and keep having more profits.

Everybody (that counts) wins!

The man is a sociopath. He is incapable of actual human compassion and understanding. It wasn't even a good year for him but he can't help but lie.

21. GW Hoover: "it's been a good year for the American people."
What a psychopath. Tell that to the hurricane victims, tell that to the people who are unemployed in this 2nd Great Depression, tell that to those whose jobs have been offshored/inshored, tell that to those who are underemployed in this dying economy, & tell that to those dying from treatable diseases b/c our nazi govt. doesn't believe that human life has any value, ergo we don't need universal healthcare.

22. Maybe it was a good year for us and we just don't know it -
Maybe it was a good year for the American people because he didn't round up millions of us and send us off to re-education camps where we worked as cheap labor in order to compete with China in the New World Order.
