If a Dem. President did this half of the Democrats would jump right up and scream for Impeachment. Republicans couldn't care less about spying or monica or corruption. They see every issue as something they can exploit to achieve power over others even other Republicans. Thats so obvious when they side with big oil or big business every time. Money trumps elections, public opinion is just a matter of enough smear cash. When the sheeple wake up and realize everthing they hear on Faux and most other media is bought and paid for with lobbists cash, then and only then can they start to think for themselves. Money corrupts our system, thats why the pukes tried an end run around campaign finance laws again this week. Thats why cheney had to hurry back to break the tie.
Democratics need to scream bloody blue murder each and every time the Republican lying scum try something like this.

It is appalling to me how cable news only shows dems to belittle them, to willfully misinterpret what they are saying, or to imply they are weak and unpatriotic.

(You are right - dems need to unify and stay on message. . .I think they are doing a better job now since 04 election, but they have a real uphill battle given the apparent predisposition of cable news to cover up for Repugs and Bush)
