If the religious groups win the elections & it looks like they will. This will be more harmful than anything else that has happened recently.

7. They really will notice.
The vast majority will be upset we spent all the lives and dollars so they could have a strict Islamic government. That's not letting "freedom ring" and all the hype we have gotten.
It will be big on the news. They'll notice.

2. HEY!
Fuckface wanted elections - he got elections.

heh heh heh

I think Gergen's half right, because, out of all the crap this bastard has pulled on us and our country, this domestic spying thing is going to rise up and bite him soundly on the other side of his ass.

17. Yes. And don't forget the fact that they want to keep stealing all
of Iraq's oil until the day there'll be none left.

That's their only 'real' important plan.
We know they'd prefer to keep it secret...

Won't Work.

It's what they do.

4. This is correct. There was never any doubt: Civil war, Islamic republic
The latter fully allied with Iran. The Kurds in the north, and likely clashes with the Turks. The Sunnis in enclaves, festering hatred. The neocon dream was always insane. Even Diebold couldn't save the Bushies this time.

14. My observation has been a bit different about Gergen.
I've often thought he's been an apologist for this admin.
