I went caroling at KKKarl Rove's house last night! Really!
Edited on Sun Dec-18-05 09:39 AM by displacedtexan
Here's the 411 on my festive outing (more info and links on my blog:
http://ascrivenerslament.blogspot.com/):

20 of us met at a Metro station and went to KKKarl's house (5 blocks from American Univ.).

3 police cars, 6 of the District's finest, and 2 pathetic freepers were stationed outside the house.

We sang songs (like The 12 Days of Fascism) while the freepers yelled, "Freepers!"

The neighbors applauded us.

It's something I'll always remember!

1. LOL and bravo! I'm sure all the Roves enjoyed! But why
were the freepers calling you 'freepers'?

2. They were chanting "Freepers!" while we sang. Satanic?
Isn't chanting supposed to be "satanic," according to freepers?

They were such sad little creatures. They thought it was their duty to protect KKKarl.

4. That's so cool. I wish I'd been back in DC last night.
This reminds me of the final days of Bush I just before the election. Several, uh "larger" females stood outside the White House singing.

The event was billed as "the fat lady has sung".

You're going down Karl.

They spend Saturday afternoons protesting * outside the White House.

I walked for 45 min between Eastern Market and Potomac Ave Metro stops trying to find a Christmas party and nearly froze my weiner off.

13. I used to live in Glover Park when I went to AU for grad school.
I liked the close access to Georgetown and we had a communal garden and some woods nearby.

27. We're across from the park
And down the street from the garden. The green across the street was one of the major attractions for my husband when he bought the condo. From bed we look out the window and see nothing but trees and sky (and the wooden fence, of course).

37. Cool!
I haven't been there in ten years, but there used to be a guy in the communal garden who would set out some furniture and basically spend the summer in his garden plot. He'd grill food, and have friends over. I'm wondering if you've ever noticed him if he's still around?

47. Can't be sure
But I think there was some lawn furniture out there. This summer the garden had periodic events where all of the gardeners would get together and cook out. We don't have a plot, because technically we have a tiny backyard (even though it's too poorly drained and too shady for anything to grow in it) and would feel guilty using up a spot that could go to someone with no green space at all.

18. LOVE IT !! War to the World!
War to the World (TUNE: Joy to the World)

War to the world! Don Rumsfeld declares;
Let's go to war for oil!
Arms dealers and oil companies
Will make our foreign policies
And we'll be safe and free
And we'll be safe and free
And women and children will be safe and free!

We rule the world! With bombs and tanks;
So let the war hawks sing
We'll target all the hospitals
And mosques and pesky journalists

And lie on CNN
And lie on FOX
And NBC and ABC and MSN!

War to the world! The empire reigns,
You're with us or against!
We're good and you are ee-vil
We're good and you are ee-vil
So we'll blow you away
So we'll blow you away
So Me-e-erry Christmas, and have a nice day!

I wish I had had them earlier...I would have printed a couple of them and put in my Holiday Cards....I liked the one about GI Joe to the tune of 'Jingle Bells.'

Now I will be singing 'War to the World' all evening...

43. Oh, yeah! Hey, they needed it this time--had TWO freepers there!
And I'm guessing that freepers, being rather, um, past their prime, have "overactive bladder".

The thing is, one wonders why Pigboy Karl wouldn't just give them a key to the house so they, his friends, could use HIS toilet (which is no doubt a luxury toilet gifted by Duke Cunningham.)

45. Fuck KKKarl's kid.
He would say the same about MY kids. He is no friend to MY kids. He couldn't care less if MY kids were maimed or killed, as long as his trained monkey Shrub can still bring home the bacon for the corporations.

Fuck KKKarl and his offspring. I don't give a rat's ass about him or his kid. Truly.

I think his kid is in his mid or late teens, btw. WHY THE FUCK IS HE NOT FIGHTING FOR FREEDOM AND DEMOCRACY IN IRAQ???????????????? He may be a year or so too young, but since we're going to have endless war, KKKarl's kid will have ample time to sign up. I will be watching for the tearful and touching father-son goodbye at the airport.

46. everything you say is true
I am sure he would use my 3-year old daughter for kindling in his fireplace without a batting an eye- she would probably fit, too.

But I have no malice for the children of an evil man. I wouldn't want to hurt them to strike at their Dad, to punish him or teach him a lesson--that's just how I feel. Because my enemy is depraved, I don't want to stoop to his level or become like him- when it comes to hurting an innocent child. I can't let hatred twist my own ethics. However, I am totally on board for extracting payback from the evildoer himself, in every (legal) way, shape or form. I would go to the ends of the earth to endorse just desserts for that horrible man. No one deserves it more than him- except for his evil partners-in-crime.

Rove's kid is 16 (just looked it up- I thought he was 13). Let's see what happens if he enlists of his own accord when he's 18(if we are still in that hellhole). For Rove, that would be reaping what he has sown.
