Bush - mocking everything our fallen soldiers fought for.
Whenever I'm faced with the sacrifice others have my for my freedom - their very lives - I'm moved with both awe and respect for what they have done for all of us. Soldiers have fought and died on hundreds of battlefields to preserve a nation founded on a small document written by Thomas Jefferson, whose unique tenets created a revolution in government and granted unprecedented rights to individual citizens. The ideas and ideals contained in that document and a few others penned in that time period are the very foundation of our country - it is the core of what our brave soldiers fought and died to keep and defend. It is the core of who we, as Americans, are.

Now Bush, with his arrogant abuse of power, has mocked the sacrifice of every soldier who has died to preserve the freedom and democracy - the very foundation - of our country.

Because to Bush, the foundation and core of our country is nothing but a @#%&$ piece of paper that falls a poor second to the lust for power and childish willfullness personified in George W. Bush and his administration. In his eyes, tyranny trumps all.

It makes me feel ill to see how far our great country has fallen. If only we had a Thomas Jefferson today to speak out for us in the face of tyrants.

1. Yep....In our country's second gravest moment.....
...we face "The Madness of King George II"...ironic,isn't it? And I DO mean madness-I believe we (of at least our supreme court) have selected a president who is,in fact, clinically insane.....

2. You're right.
It seems that a lot of politicians can not see the same country our citizens and soldiers see. We believe that we live in a great land with noble morals and ethics. We believe that we stand on strong principals. We are the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. As you say, people have died and are willing to die to protect this country.

Since our politicians are simply blinded by greed and the current administration is evil, maybe average Americans will unite in a fight for what is right. We, the people, were given the power to take a rogue government back. It's time we stand up.
