Ok,all of us Anti-War unpatriotic commies should turn ourselves in
And save the Bush brownshirts time and money from having to spy on you,tap your phone lines and read your PERSONAL mail.

I admit it,I took place in an Anti-War rally in the small peaceful town of Newton Kansas in Feb 2003. The march started at {**GASP**} the college and ended near city hall with several guest speakers. This might be my last post as Bush's Waffen SS kick my front door in and drag me away never to be seen again.

Honestly,is this really the US anymore?? How much closer to Nazi Germany do we get on a seemingly DAILY basis??

1. That's why every single American should be concerned,
despite their politics. So why the heck aren't they? I just don't get it.

2. Me too!
I wonder if Bush's SS see international boundaries?
I've protested too, in Ottawa when he came. His people are probably watching me. They know what I ate, when I came home...

I'm a goner.
Maybe we'll be sent to Guantanimo in the same plane?

9. I don't think
they have enough personnel (yet, anyway). But just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're NOT out to get you!:silly:
(oh, and Welcome to DU :toast: )

3. A bit closer with each tiny step. Luckily, W will never abuse the Consti-
tion: we know because Condi says it's so. ;)

5.  I went to the library yesterday...
and as I was checking out my husband and I started joking about my being on a 'watch-list' for my insatiable appetite for expose type books on all things government. The librarian then started informing me of tracking devices etc., that she had recently become informed about and was fearful of. We then laughed about how we were all 'terrorists'. Later on when I thought about that conversation, it was eerie...as though we've stepped through to the other side...without knowing when and where it happened, and it is now accepted and part of polite conversation. It's almost like its just a matter of degrees now, we've crossed the line.

7. We could do a hell of a lot to throw a wrench into this bullsh*t
behavior on OUR EMPLOYEES PARTS, simply by having hundreds of thousands of people check out the "books of interest", there, done with that.

10. The part of this that I don't understand...
is with all the data that is collected...so little is actually transcribed or looked at, leading me to think that it is psychological. At the same time, the extrodinary rendition as it relates to AlQaeda seems to do the same, as so many of the victims are released presumably innocent?

11. Ya know what else?? Start a program to encrypt a few dozen
emails a week with a content similar to this.... or perhaps a nursery rhyme... BACKWARDS.

They just voted through legislation that'll make tele companies and ISP:s log and save all conversations for possible use by authorities!

Shouldn't EVERYone on DU turn themselves in just for being here, by the way? You wanna bet NSA monitors this site too?

8. Iffin they monitor this site, they are guilty of wasting taxpayer dollars,
being negligent in going after real threats, and are not very nice.
