why so many empty seats at the debate ?
usually these debates are filled, but this one has a bunch of empty seats. do you all think most people actually watch the debate themselves, or get news of it from post debate spin by pundits ?

1. did any local stations run it ?
did any local stations in south carolina run this debate ? if it was only shown on msnbc and now on cspan then i'm thinking it's mostly people who have been following the elections already who watch.

2. Did you notice how massive the auditorium was?
It was about the size of all the other venues combined. Looked that way to me anyway. That might explain it.

4. Maybe some of the people are like me
and they are just tired of debates. Bring on the GE debates and let's watch bush* get his butt kicked. :-)

5. Invitation Only
I just got an email from someone who was at the site and said he would have liked to get in but wasn't able to because it was "by invitation only".
