But an unapologetic Liberal Prime Minister Paul Martin responded immediately by saying "c'est la vie" – that's life – if the United States did not like his remarks, and he would not accept anyone telling him he cannot defend his country.

In a hard-hitting speech in Ottawa, US Ambassador David Wilkins lamented what he called relentless and incessant criticism of his country, which he speculated might begin to sow doubt about the strength of the bi-national relationship.

"Canada never has to tear the United States down to build itself up," Mr Wilkins said..."

2. Fuck off, Wilkins.
Give us back our five billion for the softwood, and we'll stop bashing.

But realize, we still won't vote for Stephen Harper.

6. GWB* is king of corruption.
He might pretend that he is too stupid to know it, but it all happened under his watch and corrupt regime.

It's time to throw these bastards out, regardless of their party affiliations. That includes anybody that still stands by their vote to give this tyrant free reign to wage unprovoked war on Iraq AND our own Bill of Rights.

7. Good for Martin
B*sh can buy news and photo ops in Iraq but
we don't want it. Why pretend your neighbour
isn't a fascist dictator just because the last
people who lived in his house weren't as
bad?

I wonder if they're going to send Condi
to discipline us? I doubt her heels would
get any traction. Bring it on!
