5. It was stupidly stated.

Churches have been trotting out that "war on Xmas" year after year, but the war was started by commercialization and the inclusion of pagan customs, not by any nonexistant monolith of atheists and liberals.

If they said "Was a war on Xmas started by commercialization" vs. "Was a war on Xmas started by atheists" I think they'd have gotten a very interesting result.
