Our fellow citizens are living in tents and cars along the gulf coast, Louisiana Senator Landrieu is threatening to keep the Senate open through Christmas to secure aid for hurricane victims and what is the speaker of the house doing for America as congress packs their bags to head for the Holidays? Why ole denny will "delay" calling the house of representatives back into session until 31 January? Why? So tom delay has time to resecure his "leadership" position in congress before some scalawags have time to mutiny. Praytell denny what does tom have pictures of? You with a goat? You with jeff gannon? You with ann coulter?

It continues to suck being a conservative in America today!

These guys are like the mafia--they stick together. I don't find it at all odd that Hastert would try to use the process to benefit DeLay, if it benefits the entire corrupt bunch as a whole.

and thanks for that insight. I was giving him the benefit of the doubt. You are right, they are all worthless scum. However, per your synopsis they obviously have compromising pictures of each other tucked away in vaults somewhere.

when it benefits that individual person. If someone gets caught and they are linked to them they will do whatever they can to stay away from this person.

3. It's far more Important

for the Republican glutton to save Tom Delay from the rewards he so richly deserves, than to honor the oath he took when he became a senator. It is VITAL for the Republican party to down-play the culture of corruption now threatening to destroy this congress. 7. Hastert is Speaker because Delay wants him to be.

Hastert is Delay's handpicked toady. Delay either believed he couldn't get elected Speaker, or believed he could wield more power as Majority Leader, with a puppet as Speaker. Face, it. Denny Hastert is not who comes to most people's minds when they envision SoH. He's not a masterful politician, he wsn't a force in Republican politics, and God knows he's not photogenic or particularly well spoken. But he is in Delay's pocket. And if Delay goes down, and isn't there to swing the hammer when the House votes for Speaker in early 2007, Fat Denny may go down too.

DeLay probably knows everything on Hasert. And I remember reading an article posted here from Vanity Fair with Sibel Edmonds and she told how Hasert was being bribed by some Turks.
