Is NOW the time to push for Impeachment?
I say it's time to push for impeachment of the shrub. It should have been in 2000 for stealing the election. But now, politicially, may be a good time. *'s approval numbers are down...even the moron repthugs are starting to wake up. And an impeached * would really turn the tide for the 2006 elections.

Write your Senators and Representative now and push for impeachment!

Here are some good sites:

1. Been writing mine.
My Rep (D) sent a long letter basically saying he supports investigation into the Iraq lies, but not yet impeachment.

2. FIRST we need to gain control of the House in 2006.
Without that there will be no impeachment under any circumstances. Never make the mistake of thinking that there may be Republicans in Congress with integrity. Bush could barbecue babies on the White House lawn and serve them up as appetizers to his donors and he still wouldn't be danger of impeachment by this house.

3. There is NO way whatsoever that Republicans will allow an impeachment
This is a pipe dream. To do so would destroy their chances for re-election and they know it. Bush will be impeached. We don't have the votes now and we won't after 06 either to actually convict. An impeachment with a conviction would destroy the Republican party and anyone who crosses over to vote for impeachment can kiss any support from the party goodbye in the future (campaign funds from the party itself, stumping forom other party members, etc.

I would love to see this asshole thrown out of office, indicted, convicted and imprisoned but I'm not naive enough to think there is a snowball's chance in hell of it happening.

5. Question--weren't there some democrats who
crossed over to vote for impeachment of Clinton?

Do those democrats still hold office? Have they gotten support from the democratic party?

Bet there are some people like that out there.

But anyway, repukes wouldn't necessarily vote to convict their fellow party members Bush/Cheney. BUT Clinton wasn't convicted--yet the very act of impeachment did immeasurable harm to his party. I think an impeachment, even w/o a conviction, would definitely harm the repuke party. And I'm really into anything that would harm the repuke party.

And let Cheney take over. ROFLMAO! Oh, yeah, now that would be a real hoot. Cheney has virtually no authority left. I think it would be hilarious if he had to take the reins from an impeached/convicted Junior. Cheney, what with his heavy background of scandal, and what with new scandals involving him coming to light every day, would fold like a cheap suit. It would be fun to watch them fall.
