To say we can't "win" in Iraq? What nonsense! An insult! Treason! The only reason we didn't win Vietnam was because of liberal commie pinko sissies like Dean!

Oh, wait, how do we "win" in Iraq, again?

No more Saddam with his numerous ties to international terrorism? Check.
No more WMDs or threats of nuclear annihilation from that madman? Check.

Mission accomplished. We eliminated the clear and present danger of Saddam. Let's go home! The rest of this is just mission creep.

I mean, those were our goals, right? We had to enforce the UN ceasefire, whether they wanted us to or not. We had to violate international law in order to save it, right?

We are not there to establish a defacto colony, "profit" from their oil wealth for years to come, and have a base to wage future wars against neighboring nations, right?

...

Do the pro-war/occupation people not realize that in order to pacify the nation, we would have to become just as brutal and immoral as Saddam was?

no, no, no... what am I thinking?!

Of course we will win the war! We have always been at war with Eastasia. We must rid them of Zarkawi Bin Goldstein. Victory Gin for all!

Send Dean to the Ministry of Love.

1. I like what Murtha said when
he stated .."THe soldiers have done all we've asked them to do..now it's time to bring them HOME!"!

As for Dean..I had a dream about him last night and it was in the capacity that he was trying to help people do something..organize I guess. And he saw me and said.."you seem to want to ask a question, I've seen you walk by here a couple of times. So I ask my question but I can't remember what it was :(

Who needs to go hear Dean talk when I can talk to him in my dreams.

5. Murtha is right.
Do we really want Iraq to be our own Palestine? According to every justification officially put forth for the war, we have won. We won before we even invaded. Let's go home!

His economics is pro-free trade and pro-NAFTA. Doesn't sound commie to me.

But then, we all knew it. :)

Nice post.
