Michael Moore owns Haliburton Stock!!!

It's all over the internet that some guy wrote a book saying Moore owns Haliburton stock and that he has a picture of Moore's Schedule D. Is there anyway to find out if there is any truth to this claim, or if some guy just photoshopped something for book sales?

about stockholder shares and how votes are cast, you'd know that the more shares you own, the more votes you have in the company and on stockholder proposals. Thus the bigger "voice" you potentially have to garner influence.

necessarily has tobe real. If anybody looks for the records they'd probably be able to find them. How manypeople living in the US have the last name Moore and the first name Michael? How many of those might have stock in Halliburton? Now I'd like to see(assuming the records are real, of course) if this Michael moore that Schweitzer has here is of the same age, race and residency as our dear film maker Michael Moore. If that is all true and the documents are real, then this will have substance.

As someone said above, at a televised meeting in Flint, Michael Moore denied these rumors. He said at that meeting that he doesn't own any stock.

I don't claim to know the truth of this situation; but, I'll take Moore's word over the word of some right wing hack any day of the week.
