All I want for Christmas is a new senator
Edited on Wed Dec-07-05 02:26 PM by quaoar
I cannot believe that I am actually represented in the United States Senate by a moron like Jeff Sessions. What did Alabama do to incur God's wrath so much that we would be smitten down so fiercely?

Sessions was just on CNN blathering on about how much progress was being made in Iraq and how he has personally seen it in Mosul and about how wrong Murtha is, etc. etc.

And who did CNN put on as a Democratic counterweight to Sessions? Ben Nelson -- who said he disagreed with Murtha's assertion that there are no terrorists in Iraq, an asertion Murtha never made. Murtha said that the foreign fighters in Iraq are the terrorists and only represent about 7 percent of the fighters and that the rest are insurgents, not terrorists.

Nelson was then asked if he agreed with Murtha that Iraq is a mess when it comes to oil production, electricity, clean water, etc. Nelson said he hadn't seen figures on that so he couldn't say. Hell, he's on the damn Armed Services Committee. He ought to have those figures at his fingertips.

So please Santa, bring me a real senator for Christmas. How about Charles Barkley? I'll even trade in my iPod.

1. I thought I had it bad here in GA with Sack of Shit Chambliss and
Johnny Isakson. However, Sessions is a moran supreme. I'm sorry. :( Maybe Santa will bring us new senators during the next election.

2. that's the perfect name for him: Sack of Shit Chambliss
Whisper campaign going around in certain circles is that Shirley Franklin is going to take him on in 2008. Sweet!

Shirley Franklin would be an awesome candidate! She has been impressive as mayor of Atlanta.

I can hardly wait to be rid of him. I will bring up to every Republican that I meet how Sack of Shit is a chickenhawk draft dodger and how Max Cleland is a real patriot and hero. :)

:hi: Happy Holidays! ;)

5. I'd trade Sessions for Hatch
Hatch is likely to retire sooner.

6. Yes, but there's an endless line of 'pukes to take his place.
At this point, I'm so sick of Hatch that I'd put up with ANY replacement (and ain't that a scary thought).
