Keeping Katrina Survivors Visible: Up For Reelection? Post Names Here:
We need a list of Congress Critters who are up for re-election. Then we can use it to push for these people to attend to the Gulf Coast.

5. I think the Katrina survivors are going to have to organize somehow
(seems ridiculous considering the state of their homes, jobs, etc.) to press and SHAME the Republican Congress and President into action - like the 9/11 families had to do to get Bush to go along with the 9/11 Commission.

Mary Landrieu is planning on trying to do this before Christmas, I believe - by not letting the Senate go into recess before Christmas but then that ass@#le Vitter will probably just bash her for trying to help the people of LA. She needs help.

This current government wont "do the right thing" unless they are "forced" to do it, and sometimes they wont even do it then.
