i heard on the news yesterday that bush was having a free range
turkey. well i did too and there quite expensive. what does this say to those less fortunate in the country? just eat your turkey full of chemicals and preservatives and growth hormones?

1. I think his actions have already said plenty to the less fortunate in the
country. He didn't need to dine on a free-range turkey to communicate how he feels.

2. he thinks he's above everyone else. i thought it was quite rude
of him and his entourage to eat in the Outback while he was in asia. like saying you're food is not good enough for me.

3. My once-a-year excursion into meat eating, is the thanksgiving turkey.
He was a free-range, organic bird and absolutely delicious! There was not a single trace of a taste of chemical and believe me, when it is something you seldom eat, your taste can easily detect such things.

My most sincere thanks and apologies to the turkey. May your short life have been a good one and your death a quick one.

7. Don't put down the Hormone Turkey. Where else can you get 4 wings?
YOUR turkey was Free Range.

His was probably shot by Scalia and Cheney on a recent hunting trip thus, his turkey was actually "Free and within range."

See the diff?

13. these are some of the things that really bug me. i'm very
fortunate. my husband makes good money and we can afford things that most people can't. it wasn't always that way -- he's been with his company 36 years (we've both worked very hard) and fortunately his job hasn't been outsourced YET. but so many people are just getting by. the administration tries to tell us that unemployment is down, but they don't take into account all the people that lost their good paying jobs and have had to take less paying ones.

it used to be if you worked hard, you got ahead -- but that rule doesn't apply today. my mom is 82 and i'm 64 and we always talk about "the good old days".

15. I know...
that's why we are having so many problems getting any type of intelligent agenda from the White House and the Bush administration.

Still, Bush looks natural with his new adviser here.

The other guy looks equally goofy. Talk about three of a kind.

I think the poor understood perfectly what Bush's attitude toward them was, long before this. If not, letting the people of New Orleans drown made sure of it.
