I noticed on Msnbc they have been taking advantage of the Holidays...
to boost Bush's talking points they have Fat ass Haley Barbour in Iraq to tell us how much the soliders like what they are doing. The reporters found soldiers to knock down all of the points they believe that people against the war have said. They ask them are they happy to be there and they said yes"we have to get the job done " They said they are training the Iraqi soldiers and it has been going very well and happening at a rapid pace. They said the reporters are not telling about all of the good things that are happening in Iraq. Has anyone noticed that everytime a soldier is asked a question they act like they are so happy and they act like they are at DisneyWorld. Has anyone talk to any soliders that have came back from Iraq, Do they talk about their experiences? Are they happy to go back? Did any describe their living circumstances? I know good and well that every soldier is not so happy to be there and I know it has a lot to do with where they are stationed, and whatever there job duties are and how long they have been there.

Our men and women are loved by Herr Bush and Cheney - they love them to death and the media put's on a happy face.

3. Typically for MSNBC -- one side of the story

If the troops are doing SO well and they are SO eager to "finish the job" then isn't Chimpco betraying them by pulling them out? Shouldn't Chimpco be sending in more?

4. We were warned that this was coming...
All last week they were reporting about the upcoming PR push to re-sell the war to America. Now they are busy doing their job like they didn't tell us they were about to...

I guess Americans have the attention span of a gnat.

6. I would like every soldier to have the option of staying in Iraq
or leaving. Then we'd see just how devoted they are to the cause. They 'have to get the job done' because they have no other choice. Some of these people on on their third rotation; I find it hard to believe they'd choose Iraq over home.

7. Surely the command is not going to put disgruntled soldiers in front of
camera.

What is interesting to me though is that many of the interviewed soldiers are very young, having been in the Army less than 2 years, and very bright.

Why are bright young Americans still deciding volunteer for military duty knowing full well they will likely end up in Iraq???

8. Thats why I asked where are they stationed ..
who are they related to and what has do they see on an everyday basis. Are they training the Iraqis in the Green Zone. These and other questions are never asked and if they do they are taken out of context or no follow-up questions are asked.
