Reid: Stubborn Bush is "campaigner-in-chief"
President Bush is a stubborn man, refusing to adjust failed policies at home and abroad, and acting like he's still running for president instead of serving as one, Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid said.

"President Bush and his sidekick Cheney have been very, very stubborn and quite mean-spirited at times," Reid said in an interview with The Associated Press.

"I think he should be a commander in chief and not a campaigner in chief. This whole administration can't get out of the campaign mode," the Nevada Democrat said late Tuesday.

"Let them start governing a little bit. They are great at campaigns. Bush's brain, (White House chief of staff) Karl Rove, is a very good campaigner."

1. I'm glad to see the Dems finally start reading from the same page
Kerry used this phrase twice in speeches he made last week. Repetition, repetition, repetition. If it's sound bites that work, let's use 'em.

Republicans catapult the propaganda - Democrats catapult the truth!

2. I think Reid has got it.
Running Bush can say anything but try and make it work is another story.Just look at our debt and we all can see what he tells us and does are two different things. Also he is hardly a CEO as he never could run any thing and friends of his father bailed him out and made him rich and it was all known before he ran. People got what they voted for, a second rate man. Did they think he would change at this late date?

4. Reid is correct; and I have seen this point emphasized by several DUers
this past week or so. So on this Thanksgiving Day, let me say how thankful I am for the many posters who research and put their writings, and musings on this wonderful site.:toast:

5. Sounds like a great message. Stop the campaign and be good
