A caller to C-SPAN suggested Bush walk down the streets of Baghdad
...just to show them that American soldiers do not run. Yeah, I can't wait to see Dubya walking down the streets of Baghdad, shaking the hands of "normal" Iraqis and speaking to the press. But the press will not be with him because they fear for their lives to get out of the "Green Zone". They pay up to $35,000 just to get a safe ride to the airport. I won't hold my breath to see Dubya walking the streets of Baghdad.

9. Not to mention the security that they have to put into place
I wonder if he would honestly be safe anywhere in the U.S. I wonder how deep goes the hatred.

5. if you look at polls, 45% of Iraqis think attacking our troops is OK
that's a lot of "terrorists."

80% or more in nearly all polls of Iraqis would like us to leave.

6. Hell, I'd love to see him walk down any street in America.
I don't think his chances are much worse in Baghdad than here.

10. maybe he could ride his mountain bike
he could ride from the airport to downtown Baghdad with a t-shirt on that says "these colors don't run" ...

i'd pledge money to the RNC to see that happen ...
