Poll question: Out of the top three candidates, who do you support?
Edited on Thu Jan-29-04 05:49 PM by rpf113
Let's say hypothetically that it's down to these three.
Who do you vote for?

(I should add, these are the top three coming out of NH)

1. Right Now, I'm Leaning Towards Kerry
But I intend to fully support whoever wins my party's nomination.

2. Excuse me. You left out the candidate who finished SECOND in Iowa
and is second in some national polls. Either fix this, or ask that it be locked, and do another poll.

Thank you.

It should also include Edwards.

6. I don't see how you can include Clark but exclude Edwards
Edwards finished a close second in Iowa, which Clark didn't even contest. And despite the fact that Clark spent far more time in NH, he only managed to get 1000 votes more than Edwards.

9. Top 3 coming out of NH are, last time time I checked,
John Kerry
Howard Dean
Wes Clark

Plus one thing I wanted out of this poll is I wanted to see where Edwards voters would go if he wasn't an option.

17. John Edwards - he is now second on winning delegates.
I know some super delgates have attached themselves to others, primarily Howard Dean and John Kerry - but these are changable.

spent more time in NH, but how many years have the others spent in Congress? Excluding Dean and Sharpton.

21. my point is :
Edwards was 2 in IA and a close 4th to Clark, why not just include him. But as the pollster pointed out to me, he was trying to see where the Edwards votes might go. :) fine by me, not my poll.

35. That's my favorite picure of Clark.
I wanted to post it for all to swoon over, but don't know how to post pictures. I tried to follow the directions that some nice person posted but instead of a picture...I got the URL address. I'm just to old for this computer stuff. Too bad because I have a slew of great photos.

19. Saw all FOUR candidates LIVE in New Hampshire
My take? Clark still my first choice, well rounded, if some of the others would drop out, who are sapping his support, he could rebound. Clark offers te clear alternative. He listens (the only other one that I found to be actively listening was Edwards)he's smart, he has the international background and he can get us out of this nightmare in Iraq. He needs to tell people WHY he is the alternative to Kerry or Edwards, and fast!!!

Kerry bores me to tears. I am not very inspired by him at all, nor can I tolerate listening to him for very long. He is so politics as usual, Washington insider. I fear with him, nothing will ever move forward. We will be mired in four more years of no one working with each other.

Edwards is a great stump speaker, saw him on 1/26 at Portsmouth. I would rather see him win over Kerry. His message is positive and he reaches out and pulls you in. He connects with people. His foreign policy/international experience are weak though.

Dean? Forget it. I saw him at Exeter the night before the NH primary. He had a few good points, but other than that, I fail to see what all the hoopla was about a few months ago. I guess it was because he was the one most visible and speaking out.

27. rpf113, I'm not voting in your poll because you have
arbitarily excluded one of the top candidates.

If you want to know who is second on Edwards' supporters' lists, why not just make up a poll that asks just that, and do it without dissing him?
