Tom Brokenjaw is hosting the debate - here are his questions!
We should expect these questions from General Electric's own White House whore:

"Does it matter if no WMD's were found? After all, Bush The Almighty captured Saddam!"

"Bush said the economy is doing great, and you damn Democrats would stop the recovery in its tracks. Since this was reported on MSNBC, how are you going to run against what is obviously thr holy truth?"

"Why are any of you running? Give up now!"

Post your Tom Brokenjaw questions!

It's not a permanent solution... Are you sure it's cost-effective?

39. These Qs will be tailored to each candidate to get to the issues
Edited on Thu Jan-29-04 06:13 PM by spooky3
1) What kind of parents would leave their children all alone in another state, such as when Mrs. Dean and you did that interview with my friend Diane?

2) Rev. Sharpton, as we approach the primaries in South Carolina, I must ask: who is more overrated--Kelly Clarkson or Clay Aiken?

3) Sen. Edwards, how can voters take you seriously when you lack the vast Senate experience of Mr. Kerry? And a follow up if you please--don't you think you are just a little too cute to be President?

4) Sen. Kerry, how can voters take you seriously when you have been in Washington so long you are part of the problem? And don't you think your face is just a touch too long to be President?

5) Rep. Kucinich, where were you when the Cuyahoga caught fire?

6) Gen. Clark, how can you relate to the struggling families of America, when you can sell your sweaters on eBay for thousands of dollars?

7) Sen. Lieberman, do you think the traffic on the Beltway is worse than the traffic in the New York suburbs?

Of course, all of the questions will be prefaced by a 15 minute explanation of their "context."

4. I am not too happy with Brokaw hosting
Edited on Thu Jan-29-04 05:30 PM by quinnox
I remember the last debate he did, it sucked. But even Brokaw is better than Fox news! Those debates were the worst. All right wing questions, designed to make the candidates look like ultra-left fruitcakes.

If I was advising the Dem chairman, next time they have a primary season in 2008, no more Fox news debates! Reject those suckers invitations.

Congressman Kucinich, considering that your campaign has your absolutely pure opposition to the Iraq War as its centerpiece, why did you throw your support to John Edwards in Iowa? After all, he not only voted for the IWR, he said it was the right thing to do.

18. DK answered that already
He openly admitted to disagreeing with Edwards on that issue. He still disagrees with Edwards on that issue. DK was completely open and honest with why he did what he did. But what he did was NOT "throw support to Edwards". How come you never phrase it as Edwards throwing his support to DK? After all, it was a swap of some voters. I have never once seen a Dean supporter post that Edwards sold out with the DK swap. The target is always DK, which is verrrry curious. Truth is, neither sold out. They both stand by their original platforms. Now if Dean would just open his records from Vermont, I'd cut him some slack... It seems Dennis is open about his motives, while Dean, whose fiscal responsibility has caused his bat to turn into a toothpick, is not.

Dean hired a Washington insider to run his campaign, which irrefutably destroys his credibility, which wasn't much to destroy, I'll grant.

50. Just thought of another one:
Congressman Kucinich, since you are pretty much basing your campaign on being the only true liberal in the race, how do you explain your sudden reversal on the issue of reproductive choice, considering your career-long record on this issue?

because he has, many times. And his answers actually make sense. Read his book.

You've done an excellent job of slanting the question like a real media whore, BTW.

Senator, this is a two part question. According to President Bush both he and Tony Blair use the same brand of toothpaste.

It has been rumored that you use Breck Shampoo. Is this true? And if so, if Tony Blair also uses Breck Shampoo, do you think this will help you further the special relationship that we have with the United Kingdom?

that Bush is still showing a favorable rating in the polls, the economy is good, the sheeple adore him, his brother still runs Florida, we own the media, we own the House of Representatives, we own the Senate, we own the Supreme Court and the fix is in on the Electronic Voting Machine. WHY are you wasting all of this money on these campaigns when WE already know you will lose? Why are you being so frivolous with these millions of dollars that WE repukes could have given to Halliburton?

52. leadership quotient
Gentlemen, each of you may consider yourselves more or less electachoosable, but how can you close the leadership quotient gap with President Bush (tm) when polls show that the American people are giving him such favorable divisors? Won't you always end up with a smaller one than the Republican (tm) incumbent? Leadership quotient, I mean.
