We are going to war in Pakistan in the Spring before the election
Edited on Thu Jan-29-04 05:05 PM by tryanhas
Thom Hartman was talking about this today before his show got cut off by the radio station, only to never come back on.

He was talking about the story about this on Reuters.

Supposedly, they know that bin Laden is in Pakistan, and the Bush administration is going to wait until the spring to launch an effort to capture him to ensure that they are re-elected.

Did I tell you how much I hate Bush and his bastards?

Is it a good thing to capture bin Laden?

Yes.

Is it a bad thing to put it of for 3 years only to try and make it look like you want to capture bin Laden to protect them right around election time in order to try and be re-elected because you know that the "I ONLY WANT TO HAVE FUN, DRIVE MY SUV, AND DO WHAT I WANT TO DO" Americans are so unconcerned about what goes on with their government that they are foolish enough to vote for you anyway based on what IT LOOKS LIKE?

Of course it is.

Man I hate these people!

1. I read a post earlier today that Pakistan said NO WAY.
I don't know what to make of that. Is Pakistan saying no just as a CYA thing and special ops will go in during the night or if Pakistan is saying no and meaning no.

3. Pakistan, Shmakistan
What are they going to do? Try to stop us? It's not like they have the bomb or some... oh, wait. Nevermind.

4. Well, Thom Hartman was talking about Pakistan's response

He essentially said that Pakistan was blowing hot air.

That they had already agreed to it or something like that.

This is probably a sure thing depending on who the nominee is. If it's someone that the Bush administration fears (Edwards) then we're going.

If it's Kerry, we might go.

If it's Dean, we probably won't go.

This is how the Bush administration works. When the pressure gets mounted on them, they pull something out of their hat.

Here is the Thom Hartman link for today's show. I tuned in like 1 hour 30 minutes into the show:

5. Sounds like Cambodia, 1972
Another incursion, eh? The Muslim world will love this one. Would be nice to get Bin Laden, but watch out for unintended consequences. The intended consequence, of course, is the re-election of GWB. If it helps his poll numbers, he will use the military any way he sees fit, and no doubt Americans will "rally round the flag," no matter what the consequences. That strategy and voting fraud will ensure the bastard's re-election, I am afraid.

6. Oh Yeah! Bring it on.....whever they can find a spot to have a war.......
Bring it on! We can do it......sure we can. Send our bedraggled and stretched thin soldiers over into Pakistan. Or maybe Rummy has a new "Death Star" WMD that he can just drop with "precision" on the target he wants in Pakistan.

I think India will be with us given that we've outsourced most of American Workers jobs of any value for big buck there. No love lost between India and Pakistan.....so "TAKE 'EM OUT!"
