Bizarre: NAACP head in FL switches to become a Repug
Edited on Thu Nov-17-05 03:21 PM by win_in_06
As of this week, Derrick Wallace, head of Orange County's NAACP, has switched parties -- to become a Republican.

"I've thought about this for two years," Wallace said Tuesday afternoon, just a few hours after returning from the elections office. "This is not a decision I made yesterday."

1. For business purposes. How disgusting. Sounds like he was set up for this
very purpose. Dirty pics of him with a woman not his wife, perhaps? This is Bushworld style politics.

4. Mercenary..why doesn't the
NAACP in Florida elect someone who cares?

.."To that, Shea responded: "I'm a little confused. Are we talking about the National Association for the Advancement of Construction Professionals -- or Colored People?"

6. This guy might be the first ever repug to head a chapter of the NAACP
which, by the way, is supposed to be bipartisan.

I'll be Bush can't wait to embrace this guy in a PR shot.

10. The Bush WH refused to meet with the NAACP - calling them partisan
democrats. So the NAACP went out and got a leader that was more bi-partisan.

Neocons think that, just as hitler did, they can pick and choose which groups & leaders to have a relationship to and which leaders & organizations to deminish or destroy.

And then Rosa Parks died and no Repuke could attend that there funeral could they?

Assholes.

Picking the leaders who you want to deal with and disregarding the rest is how the Brits controlled colonies using "indirect rule".
