Fitz might as well just round up everyone.
It must be galling to deal with one cover-up after another. Yes, they are communicating. Yes, conspiracies are possible (the biggest conspiracy out there is the CW that conspiracies don't exist.) Now Bob Woodward, a Republican, has stepped in to disrupt Fitz's timeline. So Scooter Libby wasn't the first person to leak Plame's name? Oh, it was someone else now? Who - Hadley? Cheney? Fitz, they're just playing games with you, okay?

Fitz, just round them all up. They're going to keep stalling, blowing smoke, and playing games. Just throw them all in jail and exercise Prisoner's Dilemma Game Alpha. Someone will talk.

:grr:

1. And if Libby wasn't the first...

...then the actual first person to leak Plame's identity would have to be someone higher than him. He wouldn't take the rap for a subordinate, would he?

2. Doesn't change anything
Libby lied. If this wasn't a big deal, then why lie repeatedly about it?

I don't think Woodward disrupts Fitz's timeline as much as extend it back a ways.

5. Fitz never said that Libby was the first gov official to leak Plame's
name. He said Libby was the first gov official known to leak Plames name.

Fitz is pretty smart and very careful about what he says.

7. It's Nashe's game theory...
where you have two prisoners and are trying to get each to confess or to testify about the other.
