1. I was wondering if there was anything Fitzgerald could charge him with.
I mean, here's Woodward bragging about how he "avoided a subpoena". Try bragging about that in any courthouse and see what happens!

Try asking a lawyer to help you duck a subpoena.

And here's Woodward holding his information in his tightly-clenched sphincter for two years, knowing all along that it is germane. Wow, some American.

Gee, I hope Mr. Woodward didn't LIE about anything. Because then Fitzgerald CAN charge him with something.

2. we never know but we DO know
that he is very deliberate and thorough-so I wouldn't want to be up against him especially after going on Hardball and calling him names-kinda like a republican. Why WOULDN'T it be obstruction in some way?Withholding evidence?

3. ...and remember Woodward's recent appearance on Larry King Live...
...where he practically started crying because people were talking negatively about BushCo.

Woodward said something to the effect of, "Come on guys...these are just people!".

Woodward was so blatantly lost in BushCo love. The other reporters were laughing at him. David Gergen was openly disagreeing with Woodward. Woodward looked like an ass---clearly not like a journalist who was searching for the truth.

He's too close to these clowns.

Now--you just have to wonder--why is he revealing this information now--after hiding it for so long?

4. Woody not revealing on his own. He was forced...rat out...
I hate that woodward jackass. He wanted to keep the story to himself so that he could make money, and to hell with national security.

5. Do you mean that these "Senior Officials" told someone...
...that they had these conversations with Woodward?

So the BushCo thugs revealed Woodward's secrets--and that is why Woodward is coming out now?

7. Now we know that Bernstein was the brains behind
that partnership. He was the real deal. Woodward is just a hanger on trying to get recognition. Don't forget that Woodward was in the military spying business out of Yale.

8. Someone ratted on Woodward...
that is how and why Fitzpatrick served him with a subpoena. Woodward was on TV discrediting the DA and making comments that there was no crime....etc.

9. I think Woodward was hinting at his own part in their strategy when
he earlier said (on TV) "This is no big deal".

He had a lotta noive waiting till after the original grand jury expired to shoot his wad!

I think he wanted the Bush detractors (including Fitzgerald who we know is not a Bush detractor--but who Woodward probably THINKS is just another Bush critic) as far out on a limb as possible before he threw his special Bob Woodward Look-At-Me monkeywrench into the mix.

But anyone who can see beyond the public relations aspects of this case knows that the monkeywrench is meaningless. The story of Scooter's alleged crimes was already signed, sealed, and delivered without ANY input from Big-Ego Bob. And Big-Ego Bob can't change that. He (and Libby's lawyer) can only use mirror tricks to try to make the public THINK Bob's "disclosures" changed anything.

If there is the slightest chance of charging Woodward with obstruction of justice, I hope Fitzgerald takes it.

10. I like it! But of course don't you know little Scooty-boot and his
scrupulously truthful :eyes: lawyer will protest that "we didn't know anything about Bob Woodward knowing anything or anybody telling him anything and we've never even heard of him and we don't know nothin' 'bout birthin' no babies!!!!!"
