Rank the Candidates
After the latest two primaries, I'm wondering how anyone would rank the candidates. I'm ABB, but here's my ranking:

1. Wesley Clark
2. John Edwards
3. John Kerry
4. Al Shapton
5. Howard Dean
6. Dennis Kucinich
7. Joseph Lieberman

1) Kucinich (Love his vision.)

2) Dean (Not quite a Dennis or Paul Wellstone, but could head there one day. Like his stand on election reform, but it could go further.)

3) Edwards

4) Sharpton (Was 3. Love what he brings to the debates, but I think Edwards has some promise and a lot less baggage so he moved up.)

5 and 6 are either Kerry and Clark or Clark and Kerry (not sure yet. Toss-up between Kerry's lack of charisma and Clark's lack of experience)

7) Lieberman (He is too conservative for my tastes to bump up higher in the list.)

(I look forward to the day when we can vote this way at the polls. ;^) )

7. Here you go with commentary.
1. Howard Dean - Still has a chance to turn back the DLC
2. Wesley Clark - A back-up candidate who opposed the war
3. Dennis Kucinich - Would get my vote for #1 if I thought he had a chance.
4. Al Sharpton, only slightly behind Kucinich.

The following I won't vote for in the GE.

5. Joe Lieberman - at least he has the integrity to stand by his lousy pro-war vote.
6. John Kerry - Pure DLC pablum.
7. John Edwards - Pureed and blow dried pablum.

9. short list
1) Kucinich
2) Kucinich
3) Kucinich
4) Kucinich
5) Kucinich
6) Kucinich
7) Kucinich
8) ABB or third party, depending on closeness of race in my state.

Edwards is definitely my least favorite, and I'll have to hold my nose even harder to vote for him -- and I'll be holding it for any of the others.

14. Dennis Kucinich....then everybody else
the rest are pretty much interchangeable, IMO, and that's fine. We have a good bunch of candidates, but DK is head & shoulders above the rest.
