JUST THOUGHT OF new "Elephant" bullet point.
What our Dem leadership needs to do and do early (today) and often (every freakin' press conference or interview or news release) is this:

Demand a look at ethics and how it affects standing of the leadership in the House and Senate. Ask that Republicans restore honor and dignity to the congress by getting DeLay removed from all committees and getting Bill Frist to step down while he is under investigation.

Do we necessarily NEED them to do it? NO. That would be a bonus if the American people started to put pressure on them to do just that. But what WOULD happen regardless...is they would stand at podiums and defend why it is they have a guy under criminal indictment who's still carrying on business of the House and why Frist is allowed to pose as a moral leader when he is involved in questionable and shady business deals.

Please add your list of "Elephant" thoughts we can barrage the GOP spin machine with.
