Who will resign first? Cheney or Rummy?
I am pretty confident one of them or both will resing way before the 2006 elections.

1. Cheney
for "health" reasons. Rummy will be sacrificed if the corporations running things decide it is expedient.

2. I think they'll both hold on past the 2006 elections...
Either one could resign after that, if Dems take Congress back.

3. No One will resign
This office has no intention of releasing its hold, admitting it was wrong, going easy into that good night. They are afraid of losing there voting base, the good moral christians (my parents for example only voted for him because they are religiously against abortion)These kind of people (my folks) don't care if the rich are getting richer or that we are killing the planet. They care only for the babies (which in it self is not a bad cause). So if the REP. admit they are wrong in this dept. it might cause people like my folks to start paying attention to other screw ups.

Example:

Question: Who will take care of these (mostly unwanted) children after they are born? Answer: The Rep. party isn't they are cutting social budgets to pay for Tax cuts for the poor.

The Rep party cannot afford to show that they are / where wrong. It might start people thinking about other issues.
