Can you filibuster a city council meeting?
I'm going tomorrow morning to the meeting about the Babcock Ranch, the 91,000 acres of until now untouched Florida wilderness that Syd kitson of Kitson and Partners want to develop. They are trying to stop him using water rights restrictions but I was wondering if things start going the wrong way can I just keep asking questions until I piss them off enough to leave?

There are two links to videos of the land from an areal view. Watch it because it may be gone soon.

1. Depends on the rules for their meetings. You are probably lmited in the
amount of time that you can speak at the meeting.

2. Not likely
They usually have time limits and/or times to speak on the question.

They may also have requirement to call ahead to be put on speaking list.

3. Our local government has a rule that only allows a citizen to ask
one question.

If you do this, they might end up just cutting you off.

5. No, most have time limits and most can vote to cut off public comment
at a certain point.
