M$M: "The Democrats have no ideas"
How the FUCK would they know? They never have any Democrats on the air unless they need a punching bag.

Just as an example, on tonight's Tweety the Motherfucker Show he has ..... Bush, Nicole Devonsih (or whatever the hell her married name is now ... Miller or something) and then the wonderful and tolerant Kitt Bond.

It is like this night after night on show after show. Republicans and pundits doing kiss ass and happy chat.

And when they DO get a Denmocrat on - say Howard Dean - they paint them with a very different brush, simply by their lack of deference, lack of familiarity, and complete disrespect.

Hey media motherfuckers ..... interview THIS, you shitbirds.

I'm sayin' it yet again, bigger than BBV, bigger than a quick fix in Iraq, bigger than health care and tax cuts and border security ..... changing the media to one that is **purely** non partisan is JOB ONE.

That and making toads like Rush and Sean and Bill have to announce time after time after time that their shows are pure opinion and clowning ... and NOT news.

1: Fix the fucking media

2: Unleash the real truth for We the People

3: Stand out of the way or the mobs with pithforks and blazing torches will trample you.

2. Coming from the GOP Invested Media Whores
We always had a great agenda, and their smearing of what Dems have stood for proves how one-sided they really are. Disgusting bastards.

13. I think they that figured out... and that's they're afraid of...
They need to understand that they are insulting and deeply offending the intelligence of the majority of American people, whether or not they turned out to vote, or had their votes stolen/thrown away.

Is MSNBC (like Fox and CNN) only interested in Viewers who are Republicans? Is there enough Republicans to bolster their bottom line and keep their propaganda machines afloat?

Maybe they're being subsidized by the GOP?

I'm dead serious. It's a question that needs to be asked and answered.

5. David Shuster did a good job, but overall, I agree.
The polls that I see are giving me optimism because the tide seems to be turning regarding the blivet's and this admin's honesty.

6. No Ideas ?
How about:

Rewriting the tax-code to keep corporations, and individuals from years and years of not paying any taxes, yet STILL getting money from the Gov't.

Supporting American manufacturing by putting tariffs on corporations that move their offices out of the country, or send jobs overseas.

How about initiating a "Truth in Media" doctrine, to put a stop to talking heads and spin-artists. Using this to start of an Unbiased/Skeptical media.

Universal Health Care.

Funding for Veterans.

Focus on tax relief for the Middle and Lower class.

Taxing all lands owned by churches.

Setting up a TRUE separation of Church and State. No ID theory, or Abstinence only "education" receives govt. funds.

Bring the troops home, ASAP.

Mind you, just a couple off the top of my head.

7. Republicans have very bad ideas.
Even if it were true (it's not) that Democrats have no ideas, I think bad ideas are worse!

8. Oh yes and the GOP
ideas have just been great for this country. We have the largest debt we ever had. Most Americans our living pay check to pay check. If we are lucky to have a job. We have a war we have no idea how to fix or get out of. I just love those GOP ideas can't wait for more.:sarcasm:

Most media is the Voice of Government.

They wouldn't know an "idea" if they saw one. The only thing they know is what sells, and only a very limited regressive subset at that!!

The dimson flop might eventually inspire them; they're in it for the money, and if their horse is losing...

12. I can remember seeing research that said that in my undergraduate
Edited on Mon Nov-14-05 07:56 PM by patrice
days a long time ago. I can first remember asking questions based on Marshall MacLuhan's ideas that were characterized at that time as "The medium is the message." i.e. the media = the appearance, or image of, things, that's the message.

14. I realize we're not getting a
true picture of Iraq and what's going on over there, but I remember footage of the VN war and the endless protests. Oh, to have ethical journalists and employers.

16. Yep.
I often wonder why media professionals aren't more ethical, since they have so much impact, you'd think they would care more.

10. This from a media that has forgotten how to report the news,
investigate stories and get to the bottom of things. They regurgitate RW talking points, nothing more, nothing less.
