Doug Forrester whines
This post is in no way intended to defend America's worst president ever, but slug's ranting is just so pathetic.
According to forrester:
Doug Forrester, in his first postelection interview, laid the blame for his loss in the governor's race last week directly at the feet of President Bush. He said the public's growing disaffection with Bush, especially after Hurricane Katrina, made it impossible for his campaign to overcome the built-in advantage Democrats have in a blue state like New Jersey.

"If Bush's numbers were where they were a year ago, or even six months ago, I think we would have won on Tuesday," Forrester said. "Katrina was the tipping point."

So...dougie, sluggie...what you're saying is...it's someone elses fault you ran a hate spewed campaign that was totally devoid of any ideas. In fact, your such a LOUSY candidate that you needed someone else to try and save your miserable campaign. Come on sluggie, we all know scrubbo is a miserable, sociopathic, loser, but be a man. You ran a crappy, mean spirited, hate-filled campaign.
Typical pukie whining.

1. What excuse does he have for losing to Corzine last time, then?

2. Doug Forrester's political career is over, he should just go back to
Whatever he was doing before he had the stupid thought of attempting to get into politics.

I must say, as a side point, I'm wondering who Governor-elect Corzine will appoint to his Senate seat. I hear good things about Goveror Codey, maybe he could choose him.

3. I hope Howard Dean sent him a nice thank you note for that
I mean he couldn't have said it better himself.

4. So it wasn't because of that slimy, underhanded use
of Corzine's bitter ex-wife's comments to smear him that lost the election?

5. Bush was hugely popular in 2002.

Why didn't Forrester win then?

Forrester has run, not once but twice, against a NJ Democratic party that was painted by the media as weakened by scandal. First Toricelli, then McGreevey.

Why couldn't he get any traction out of that either time?

Bush's lack of popularity probably did do some damage to Forrester. But nobody hurt Forrester more than Forrester.
