Revoke the "Courtesy and Respect" extended to this pResident
Not like we extend those things here at DU, I am not talking about us. I am talking about this bizarre phenomenon, this custom, this tradition which is lost on the mafia-man or men in charge. It does the public no good to extend these nice-ities to these criminals. I say it's time to get harsh, discourteous, downright rude if necessary. Call a spade a spade for the love of God.

I don't get it. What's with this aura around this lying lunatic * - under ordinary circumstances and in ordinary times I am all for respecting the office of the president and for extending courtesy to the person holding that office (if they were duly elected). I would even be supportive of giving that person the benefit of the doubt from time to time...but NOT this lying lunatic who has taken up residency and threatens our country, our people and the world.

Why can't we get tough (if only in word)? What's with this, whatever it is, that keeps us from cutting through the bullshit lies aka bushit. It really works against us. We are working with something akin to a mafia boss here, a gangster. Do we just not get that? When is it time to end courtesy and respect that are not warranted?

1. B*sh didn't just spend his political capital...
...he squandered the credibility of the office, here at home and worldwide. We have a long way to go, if we ever hope to regain our standing.

3. Respect must be earned
To respect a liar is to honor his lies.

4. Remember The Fuss About Clinton
Remember the fuss about the Marines who didn't salute Clinton when he got onto Marine One? Imagine what the Freepers would say about this?
