'Four Simple Suggestions for Bloggers' :- MyDD.com
# When referring to Bush, always include the word "Republican" in close proximity to his name as in "Bush and his Republican Culture of Corruption..."

# When referring to Congress, remember to remind readers that the Legislative Branch is Republican controlled. For example: "Legislators in the Republican controlled Congress today proposed legislation that would cut veteran benefits..."

# When writing about Bush or Republican leaders like Frist, always include the word "Republican" in association with them. For example, instead of "Majority Leader Bill Frist" use "Republican Majority Leader Bill Frist."

# When referring to the Republican Party, always start with the words "Republican Party" rather than "GOP." To the less politically aware, the lack of awareness that "GOP" is the Republican Party may be to the Republican's advantage.

1. Excellent - this is part of "framing" that we need to do consistantly.

2. It's the attention to detail, like the...

voter fraud, vs election fraud.

The voter did screw up the election. Election fraud is Diebold, ESS and Republicans.

3. it's handy to be reminded of this, as we all slip once in a while (even
though I refer to them all as repukes, or rethuglicans, or something similar)

7. EXACTLY. We need to associate these guys with the state of the
nation. Many Repugs are going to try and run away from Bush. I think we need to associate them at every turn. Bush/Republican War, Bush/Republican economy, Bush/Republican tax cuts for the rich. Hammer them all the time. It works for the Repugs. Love that Dean always refers to "this corrupt Republican" administration. We have to make corruption/Bush/Republicans synonymous in people's minds.

11. Not just bloggers
We all need to do this. Whenever we talk politics, we need to be framing the issue.
