To My Clark Supporters!
Edited on Thu Jan-29-04 02:42 PM by Crewleader
Why Clark Is The One To Beat Bush!

He's got no voting record they can go after and tear him down. He's got a good record of his military service and that's a strong asset.

Not putting down the other candidates but they will go after their voting record and any ties to lobbyist, any dirt to make people doubt.

But with the General he has everything they can't fight against,he's a open book, all records are open to the eyes of the public.
He's not a politician or a insider,he gave his service to this country for 34 years, he's what this country needs so very much. He will put people first and he's my choice to stand toe to toe to Bush and shine and they know it too.

Clark is so correct when he says we need everybody in this fight, that's Independents, Democrats and even Republicans and (we won't make them repent) to join us in winning back our country.
There's are alot of disgruntle republicans not happy with Bush and this Democrat welcomes them!We need to start putting this country back together again, bringing as many as we can to fight the Bush regime.
This is why the right-wing republicans fear him the most because he will bring all to vote in the General Election, for sure!

Now tonight's debate...let's see what happens with the media coverage and the questions he gets. It's real obvious that the media coverage is not there and the attack questions to him are obvious to anyone.
Let's give the General credit, he knows their game after his first primary and he'll only get better, he knows how to deal with an enemy and he has the stamina to succeed!

Stay Strong Clark Supporters'! :-)

1. After I have voted for Clark
on Super Tuesday, I will be so happy to begin speculating on who he might ask to be VP.

(Remember how W asked Cheney to head up a search for the best-qualified VP? Cheney sees all these people and then tells W that in fact Cheney is the best! Now, that's funny.)

Clark! Clark! :grouphug: YAY!

4. Good idea.
I have ABB only because I want people to understand I'm not Clark or nothing.

However, I will now change my avatar to Clark...this post will then mean nothing - LOL!

Thanks, xultar.

well for the debate tonight! Every possible question that might be asked. (I hope the questions this time are more focused on issues than his background or personal matters.)

The General is still in the race with a long way to go to the finish line. I do hope some "journalist" breeches the Michael Moore bush Desertion Issue with the General tonight. Let us take every opportunity to keep bush's military record alive.

15. I wished more people could look and see the truth
of what you say. I'm sitting here listening to our local talk show and a republican just called and said that Clark really is our best chance at winning because he can bring independents and republicans on board. She was critical of Kerry because of his IWR vote and his no vote on the 87 billion dollars for the war. She claimed that if the choice is Kerry vs. Bush she was going to go Bush. This is sad but probably true for many. We will just have to wait and hope that the majority of America realizes the truth of what you say.

20. I was quite excited about Dixsville Notch
our first victory and third is great for such a late start.

All the other candidates were campaigning like some say since the 2000 selection. I seen them at the Florida Democratic Convention in 2002 campaigning for the future run for the presidency when I was a McBride delegate and the only one that shined was Al Gore and his best speech to Stand Up.

As much as I liked Al and everyone knows around here with great respect but with the General I love him and he's taking up the fight for working families and admire him more for doing this, standing up to fight the good fight.

And we all stand up with the General to lead so that families in America can Dream Again!

I'm keeping the faith friend! :hi:

31. Up in NH all week working from 1/20-27
it was awesome. Email me at DU if you want a link to my primary party photos, I was 10 ft. from the podium.

At Auburn 1/24, we were on C-SPAN. After the event one of his staffers brought him out to my car so that I could show him my license plate *WES WING*, that was a moment I will never forget...(but my friend's damn camera literally froze up and we didn't get a photo, grrr)

Clark came in HQ around 3pm on 1/27, and I finally got a photo taken of me with him. He is so inspiring, and will make an extraordinary president.

21. Crew! I'm thinking of switching my support from Kerry to the General...
Edited on Thu Jan-29-04 03:05 PM by kentuck
Because I love the message that the General is putting out and it does not bother me that he has been a 'registered' Democrat for such a short time.

The difficulty for me is that I am a Viet Nam veteran and I supported John Kerry way back when he started the Viet Vets Against the War. I always thought of Kerry as an idealistic, honest American. I still believe he is all those things.

However, my dilemma lies in the fact that I think Wes Clark has the best message to unite this country and to rebuild the Democratic Party in the South and other places in this country that have surrendered to the Repubs. Wes Clark has a very liberal message in total and is not afraid to speak up and defend his positions - unlike many of the folks that have been programmed to believe that they can never speak their liberal beliefs or else they will be destroyed by the media and the Repubs. Will Kerry be able to defend himself from the "Massachusetts Liberal" label? Will he do it convincingly and forcefully? I think General Clark has already done that.

So that is the dilemma that this Democrat faces...

Kentuck, I agree with what you say...The General isn't afraid to speak up and defend his message and the issues. The best thing is he can bring us all together in this country.

He's a soldier of the people and will fight for us in every issue that holds dear and that's why my heart is for Wesley Clark and I am so happy you see it too.

28. Have you considered sending a resume to the Clark campaign?
Wow, have you considered sending a resume to the Clark campaign?

You could work on the PR team; you pretty much nailed the message -- and the hope that he offers in lessening the growing "partyism" in the country.

If you're looking to learn more about the General as you work out your dilemna, you might want to check out this great web video library that some of his supporters have put together:

I recommend these clips from Bill Maher's HBO show, as a start; they're great!!

29. Agreed, though a coupla others were funnier or had better lines
I definitely felt that Clark performed the best out of all the candidates, in terms of focus, demeanor, clear and concise answers without politcal doublespeak...

... though Edwards had the best line: "The President needs to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time."
