I think I just witnessed one portion of the set up.
Lou Dobbs, paragon of unbiased reporting, did a segment on whether or not today's gubernatorial elections are a referendum on the presidency and the GOP.

CNN made a point of showing the following stats complete with glowing full-color photos.

When Bush had 87% approval, Democrat governors won in NJ and VA.
When Clinton had 69& approval, Republicans governors took NJ and VA.

So folks, it doesn't matter that half the GOP is under investigation or has been indicted. It doesn't matter that Bush's approval rating is below 40%. It doesn't matter that over 50% of people polled think Bush should be impeached. It doesn't matter if internal polls show a Democratic lead.

Statistically it's completely valid that Republican governors were elected in NJ and VA in 2005. Move along folks, nothing to see here.

4. I don't think it is a set up. People vote different in different elections
It is true. But we can hope.

5. Spin spin spin..
.. it works for a time. It works when it's about things you know little about. It works when the spinner is trusted.

These media whores are well on their way to being the one thing they cannot afford to be - ignored.

I don't watch ANY of it, not Fox News, not CNN, not MSNBC. Why would I, there is better information on the net without the bullshit.

When their ratings drop to 2 shares, the lying presstitutes will have to find a new game. Help the ratings go down. :)

6. That was probably the first time I've turned on the
television in three weeks. Actually, I'm not sure why I sat down and watched the few minutes that I did. Especially with Lou Dobbs. *shudder*
