Republicans WANT a CIA leak probe! They insist that leaks of classified CIA information are harmful to the global war on terrorism! They say leaks compromise US national security! They aren't stonewalling, they're out there constantly saying we MUST have a CIA leak probe! You can't turn on TV or pick up a newspaper without reading about how Republicans are insisting on a CIA leak probe! They're completely outraged and insist that we get to the bottom of this and find out who in the Bush administration leaked the identity of covert agent Valerie Plame Wilson!!

And using the phrase "CIA leak probe" is intended, I believe, to confuse people to aren't paying much attention. ("Of course the Republicans want an investigation into THE CIA leak!")

They're doing everything possible to sweep Valerie Wilson's outing under the rug.
