NJ election
Somebody from Corzine just knocked at my door to remind me to go and vote :)

I have not seen so much activity from the Dems in quite a while - even more than last year.

4. i just went and voted.
nothing interesting to report, but as i was leaving a truck with bush/cheney '04 stickers pulled in near me. i thought he was waiting for my parking spot. instead, he pulled into 3 spots clearly marked "CHURCH BUSINESS ONLY" (our polling place is a local church). he parked his toyota pickup truck perpendicularly across all three spaces and went in to vote.

i just drove away laughing. i wonder who he voted for.

5. I volunteered and it did seem more active than last year
I volunteered after reading the Kerry emails to do so. It just seemed hypocritical to spend so much time talking without doing. Other people said they were responding to Dean exhortations to do so. My county is Republican and if grassroots are being built here, that is a sign for the good.

The calling lists seemed better too.
