What election machines are used in VA and NJ? Will RNC hack the vote?
Edited on Tue Nov-08-05 01:17 PM by McCamy Taylor
Just curious. The pundits on MSNBC are potraying these two governor's battles as a test of whether or not the country forgive's W. for all his sins. This makes absolutely no sense. These are two frickin' states out of 50 and these are two battles for state governor, not a presidential election. One is in a true Red state. The other is in NJ which should be blue, but I am wondering...

Is there any chance that NJ has some shady electronic voting machines that are going to be hacked so that the RNC can steal the election for the GOP and Rove can claim that W. (and Rove) have overcome the Plame Affair, Iraq, NOLA and everything else?

And does VA have similarly hackable machines that can be manipulated for a landslide victory? I get the feeling that the MSM is setting the nation up for a "Gee, everybody loves W. after all" moment tomorow.

PS The reason I post this is not to be defeatest. We should be all looking for and DOCUMENTING RNC and GOP election fraud and then we should publicize the hell out of it after the election. Monkey Boy and his VP Dick Vader are so massively unpopular right now that people want to believe that they cheated to get elected and re-elected. Plus, people are going to be especially sensitive to stories about how the Chicken Shit GOP Congress might be planning to use Election Fraud to remain in power next year. If they hear about election fraud, they are more likely to register it now than they were a year ago.

1. I wonder..
... while I'm definitely on board with the fact that the machines are easily hacked and have been hacked in the past, I get a bit skeptical of this idea, which is running around here a lot this morning.

This idea being that the "media" is "in on it". I firmly believe that for anyone to get away with a serious crime, zillions of people can't know about it.

I don't think the average news anchor or copyrighter is involved in vote fraud. This is being done by a handful of people at most.

Just my opinion, convince me otherwise. :)

2. I'm convinced that they fiddled with the last election to make it seem
that NJ is trending to the right. Just my theory at this point, but we do have touchscreens (Sequoia in my county, I think). The noise machine during the presidential election was hinting that both NJ and CA were leaning more toward Republicans, but with the big margins Democrats had in those states in 2000, they wouldn't have gotten away with stealing it then. But, surprise, surprise, NJ was closer in '04 than in '00 (CA?), and I really find that result hard to believe. If they did shrink the margin by fraud last time, they might go all the way this time.

And, yes, I'm wearing my tinfoil. Who WAS that DUer who coined my new mantra: "tinfoil, it's the new black"?

3. Sequoia touchscreens in NJ? Yes, you are being hacked, no doubt.
There is absolutley NOTHING to stop the RNC and Rove from taking advantage of this opportunity to steal control of a state's governor's mansion (which facilitates stealing a state's electoral votes for the next presidential election by introducing even more extreme methods of Election Fraud) PLUS will give W.'s supporters among the media pundits something good to crow about.

This is problem with black box voting. There is no reason for the RNC NOT to hack the vote, except for exit polls, and no one believes the exit polls any more.
