The right has done such a good job for such a long time repeating the same old lie, that most people who don't pay close attention still believe the media is liberal. You try to tell 'em it's right wing, and they'll look at you like you're nuts. They won't listen long enough to hear the evidence.

But tell 'em it's corporate--entertainment only, and all for profit--and that's something that can penetrate. If we can get that idea across, it's not such a leap to convince them that, like all corporations, they support Repub.

Perhaps there's a catchier phrase than "corporate," one that would stick with people better.

Problem is, we'll never get the media to use it, so it a much harder battle to spread the word.

But in any case, we only hurt ourselves, and obscure the truth, when we use the term "mainstream." We've definitely got to get away from that.
