Look at one of your first supporters, Amy Sullivan at Political Aims. Remember her? She wrote all those articles about you in the Washington Monthly that got everyone curious about you?

Fire Chris Lehane. Now.

She feels that Lehane is squandering your campaign. Get rid of him. Everyone is suspicious of him. He misrepresents you on TV. He is turning you into a defensive and overly-cautious man. You need to be more daring. You need someone who will defend you on TV. Maybe you should get Joe Trippi. He is not my favorite--we know that he never balanced a budget--but he went to the mat for his guy. Chris is giving up on you, Joe won't.

Trippi is a scurge to the party. He cheated the party into nominating a loser in Mondale, and he almost did it again with Dean
