$14,000 roundtrip from Texas to DC?!? Another faux news story
faux "news", that bastion of conservative integrity paid tom delay, another bastion of conservative integrity, $14,000 for "officially connected travel" last month so he could wax philosophical on their "news" show the weekend after he was indicted.

http://politicalwire.com/archives/2005/11/03/fox_news_paid_for_delays_travel.html

Seems a little pricey to me. I just booked a roundtrip flight from New Orleans to Kansas City for $189.00. I guess faux just isn't as fiscally conservative as I am. Or, were they buying something else and hiding it as Official Travel? Who would dare question the veracity of a money deal between faux and delay?

1. What does that include?
Is it a private jet with a harem on board?

3. Maybe a putting green, he's such an avid golfer.
Ooops - he can only do that at St. Andrews, right?

4. I suppose...
On his way to the studio he flew over there to play a quick 18 on the old course.

2. Ah, but did you charter a luxury Lear Jet?
If you did, it would have cost you nearly that much. You think His Highness Tom Delay travels commercial? No way...

6. LOL,DeLay should have paid FOX for letting him be on TV....
Edited on Fri Nov-04-05 09:45 AM by OneTwentyoNine
Jesus, how stupid are those fucks at FOX?!? DeLay needed a TV outlet that was friendly to a crook--and he needed it badly. So FOX PAID for Delay's travel--and got ripped off to boot.

Wow....
