right before I came here and just couldn't believe I was seeing something that I hadn't seen since I first came south in 1964. Every time I think it can't possibly get worse, Bush proves me wrong.

On the same day the resolution was being passed honoring Rosa Parks. How's that for irony?

3. why think this was an accident?

they're clearly not interested in the black vote, and quite frankly never were.

what they've always been interested is the racist vote and the vote of those who are racist but don't want to be SEEN as racist.

his so-called outreach has always been about deflecting cries of racism rather than actual displays of non-racism.

4. He is the Chicken President. He can go to Howard U only if he

has a security wall to protect him. He is afraid, very, very afraid to go among the students.

I have never seen a President with such a security wall. Even when he was campaigning in the Panhandle, the security would close down the only road across the barrier islands here for hours because he's so afraid. People were stranded and could not get home.

I tried to point this out, but the freepers thought this was so necessary for the "safety" of the President. Of course, they were against taking the same measures for Kerry.
