Seven more of our kids have been slaughtered in Iraq this month
which is less than three days old. They are dying because the bush administration lied for political reasons. Members of the bush administration lied with impunity for the past five years because they know their base does not care if they lie and they knew their base would shout down anyone demanding the truth.

bush's base, made up of the religiously insane (who say they value life) and ignorant flag wavers say they continue to support our troops. THEY ARE SUPPORTING OUR TROOPS TO DEATH!

Thank you DU for your efforts on our troops behalf. The tide is turning ever so slowly because we choose to raise a little hell, write a few letters, make a few phone calls. Our kids are still in harm's way because of bush and his base so let's keep making those phone calls. Everyone is significant.

1. Seems like we just hit the 2000 milestone
Now we're nearing 2050 already. How long will the "last throes" last?

2. Oh why are you focusing on the negatives?
Why can't you focus on the positives? Like how many of our troops haven't been slaughtered yet this month?

What was it, 92 dead last month? Of course, by projecting that we'll lose another 89 or more this month, I am actually bringing about their deaths in Ignorant Flag Waver Cloud Cuckoo Land.

3. You are right
And those who have been slaughtered are no longer in pain. How thoughtless of me.

4. So we continue at about 3 1/3 kids a day. Sorry to be so blunt, but

we can't 'kid' ourselves.

Our nation needs a mass funeral for all these soldiers without one government or military employee in sight.

We mourn.

THE CHILDREN OF THE WORLD WANT PEACE.

5. Great Idea
It pisses "conservatives" off when I refer to them as our kids. I was a Chief in the Navy. My Sailors were my kids. To me (and to them) it was a term of endearment. They knew no one messed with my kids but me and that no one did more to protect and educate and discipline them than me. Our kids in Iraq are not raw government data they are flesh and bones and wouldn't it be great if those in the white house thought that way.
