Enough loyalty oaths!
I'm sick of these targetted loyalty oaths of ABB...I say this as one that is absolutely ABB, as long as that person isn't Larouche.

I think these polls are stupid and insulting. It's true many Dean supporters are upset and that is understandable, but I think they need time to keep working on their campaign (Dean still has a chance, albeit slim), and only if after that campaign fails, I am confident most Dean supporters will understand how important it is to rid our nation of this horrible administration. After all, Dean supporters despise this administration as much or more than those of any other campaign. Even if it's not Dean that gets the nomination and ends up winning the WH, Dean supporters and liberals should have to make decisions regarding cabinet members (afte all Bush was able to stick A$$ croft in there)...

So enough of these. This processs isn't over...

2. It's because of the loyalty oaths that I am no longer ABB.

If a candidate's supporters don't understand that I need positive reasons to vote for their guy, then they will not be able to persuade the stubborn Dems / apathethic Inds, we need to win either. Loyalty has to be earned. It can not be trusted if it is given freely. Loyalty oaths are a terrible tactic, and their frequent employment only makes me doubt our chances.

4. I don't see the ABBers demanding the sacking of Zell Miller
I want to see a credentials fight at the Boston Convention. I want to see Zell Miller's superdelegate credentials being challenged, and Zell being barred from entering the Convention floor, for having endorsed George Bush for President.

You won't see that happening! Apparently ABB is a one-way loyalty oath that is only demanded of liberals to force them to support the DLC candidate.

5. I demanded the sacking of Zell Miller!

No one listened or responded. Not listening is a surefire way to lose votes.

6. I agree...
Zell's gotta go. His status as a delegate should be disqualified as shiould be Koch's (is he a delegate?).

Campaigns should know that Zell is hated in the party. They'd pick up quite a few votes if they went after him...

7. I don't know if Ed Koch is a superdelegate
I think it only applies to current office holders.

Do we have any New Yorkers here?

10. Is it really a good idea to go after Zell right now?

He's retiring, after all. I'm upset with him but he'll soon be gone, maybe not a good thing to draw attention to his perfidy?

11. Damn right it is a good idea to go after Zell Miller!
Zell has endorsed Bush and is actively campaigning for him. Zell should be stripped of his superdelegate credentials.

What do you want? Zell on TV blasting the Democrats all the while he is wearing his Georgia delegation badge?

12. Republicans don't have a monopoly on Fascism
Some of those Democrats that voted for PATRIOT did it because they really wanted the federal government to have dictatorial powers.

If they were fascists, there would be a little F next to their names.
See the D?
(point, point)
A D isn't an F, silly.
(point, point)

You anti-fascists are just Bush lovers who have an insufficient focus on electachoosability. Get with the program, dude!

14. Slim?
we still have 98.5% of the delegates to be assigned and no one is done yet.

As for the "loyalty oaths", yes they can be excessive, but I see no more than one or two per day (and that little x at the end of the subject would take care of them), and then you still run a significant portion of replies which say NBD, NBD, NBK, etc.
