Great turnout for Edwards event in MO:

I just got back from the rally in St Louis. I went up from Columbia with some friends. The turnout for this event was AMAZING!!! There were hundreds inside and once the event reached capacity there a couple more hundred lining the street outside. John Edwards jumped on top of a police car to speak to the outside crowd. My friends and I waited for almost an hour out in the cold before we were able to get in but it was well worth it! He is the best speaker I have ever heard and the almost 4 hours of driving and the near frostbite feel of our toes was all worth it!!! Having been a Gephardt supporter in the past I was also touched that he took the time to recognize and mention to the crowd how honored he was to be in Gephardt's home city. A lot of former Gephardt supporters were there and quite a few people talking about how great of him it was to mention Gephardt! Edwards has a vision for the future that is so awesome and it is such an adrenaline rush just to hear him talk about it.

I wish that I could get to see my candidate in person, but geographically it is impossible.

I would think going to a rally makes you feel really involved, besides the excitement it generates.

3. That's great AP, U City is a hip place, congratulations!

It was cold last night and parking around U City can be a huge pain. There were a few other St Louis Duers there.
BTW, do you know if Edwards will attend the tentative MO debate Monday? I thought I heard he was in.
