3. "Always," hmm?
I can think of one ruinous occasion when common sense left Bill Clinton.

Now that I've said that, I will also say that I miss him too.

it's like my fave poly sci prof would say"

the difference between democrats and republicans is that republicans keep their window blinds shut tight even tho they rarely need to. Dems, on the hand too often forget the windows are wide open."

4. Hm...the same guy who said Don't blame Bush for Katrina problems and
then a couple days later blamed Bush?

The same guy who says fight for tough issues now but advised Kerry to come out for antigay ballot measures in swing states (kerry refused) and had Terry MacAuliffe put up a noBushbashing zone at the Dem convention?

The same guy who took Alan Greenspan's advice over John Kerry's hard work and closed the books on BCCI?

9. well, it's still a wonderful quote -- and you know, being prez might be
more complicated than meets the eye.

it's like Bill Hicks said: a small elite run everything. i have a feeling that when you are elected president no matter what your promises are, when you win you go into a room with the twleve industrialists (scumfucks) who got you elected and you're in this smokey room and this movie screen descends and a big guy with a cigar says "roll the film" and it's a shot of the kennedy assassination from an angle you've never seen before. and then the film ends, the lights go up and the fat guy with the cigar says, "any questions."

11. I think that comes under the "know how to beat them" category.
Nobody's saying he's perfect. We're just saying we miss him and think the country was a lot better off with him in the White House.

already thought he and his administration were inspirational. the youth and energy; the booming economy and technological/cultural renaissance...AND he has sex. historically...what's not love? people already look back and see how the grinches stole peace and prosperity from the people. imagine how good he's looking next to Bush in say, 20 more years. if there's still books and history. what were we talking about?

6. His speech was awesome!
It ran on C-Span 2 (Book TV) this weekend. I haven't found myself talking to the television in a long time("That's right,Bill" , "You tell 'em", "Damn straight, pal"). My kid thought I was going crazy.
If I can find a link to the video, I'll post it here.

7. We need to tell all the Dems to listen to Big Dawg.
This quote needs to be mass mailed to every single Congressional Democrat.

I think Dean already knows this, as do Reid and Pelosi. Those three seem to understand what is necessary.

But Leiberman, Feinstein, Hillary, and the rest of the DLCers need to be read the riot act.

Gees, Hillary, Big Dawg's own wife is a major part of the problem.

16. LINK to speech
http://www.booktv.org/feature/index.asp?segid=6352&schedID=383

Description: Book TV is live from the Texas Book Festival at the State Capitol Building in Austin, Texas, from 12:30pm until 4:30pm ET. Coverage begins with a keynote address by Pres. Bill Clinton. That's followed by historian David McCullough discussing "1776" and a panel discussion on Pres. Kennedy's assassination with the co-authors of "When the News Went Live: Dallas 1963." Finally, Dan Rather interviews John Hope Franklin about his new memoir, "Mirror to America."

Thanks for the heads up. I love the Prez.

"There's nothing wrong with America, that can't be fixed with what's right with America"
