Thank god, Dean is getting a new campaign manager!
Trippi has done well with the internet, but his complete failure to get Dean's message to the rest of the country has been hard to watch.

Dean has yet to sit down with Letterman, Jon Stewart, or Conan O'Brien for a real interview.

Sure he has done some bits, and yeah way back we went on Leno, but up until the last week, his PR has been a nightmare.

I am happy about this cause maybe Dean will quit giving so much time to the news whores over at MSNBC, CNN, and FOX.

2. He got Dean's message out.
Iowa and New Hampshire didn't buy it.

One downside of the ABB movement is that the alert and aware voter who is in it has to decide who will likely be able to get Bush out.

The safe, known candidate wins. Dean was unable to convince the caucus and primary voters that he was the anti-Bush and his moment is now past.

Abandoning Trippi, on the other hand, and replacing him with one of Al Gore's henchmen, insures that in 2008 there will be no Dean movement on the Internet and that this campaign will be little more than an interesting footnote of what happened on the way to Kerry's nomination.

Those of us on the Clark-side watch in amazement.

Not for long, though. We've still got a fight on our hands.
