In a non-partisan spirit, I would like to say to Arlen Specter:
Nice head of hair there fella!

I'm glad he's looking better, and I hope the cancer treatment is going okay.

I just noticed as I watched CSPAN a few minutes ago.

1. I agree --- he looks better!
While he was going through those terrible treatments, he looked pretty ragged for a while there...

Glad he's getting better! :headbang:

2. I have high respect for the guy.
I just wish he could pull himself loose from the neocons. I know he must want to.

5. Specter threw some sharp elbows to maintain his seniority
He's one of the last decent rethugs, and if they could throw him overboard (DeLay was funneling money to his primary opponent last year) they'd do it in a heartbeat.

3. Add my wishes for continued progress to Mr. Specter.
In the early days of his treatment he looked so vulnerable and human as he conducted the people's business.

I recall seeing him during a hearing, and was impressed that he was continuing on even as my heart went out to him.

May he find his life and purpose renewed in the course of his recovery.

4. Yep, we don't always agree, but I had never seen him with hair
as I only just started watching CSPAN and generally paying attention as of last year. So I've never seen him well. And I didn't even know his hair was dark.

Yes, may his recovery continue.
