Would the $300 billion spent on Iraq have protected us from bird flu?
That would've paid for a hell of a lotta vaccine and research and liability coverage

2. It would have done a whole lot more than what is being done.
Come to think of it, $300 million would likely have done a lot more to make the US safer if it were not spent in bombing the crap out of foreign folk.
