Good god that was off the map. He won't take an answer for an answer.

1. Dean tried to support Kerry's plan to get out of Iraq and Tweety cut him
off.

Tweety WOULDN'T GIVE 5 SECONDS OF AIRTIME TO KERRY"S IRAQ PLAN.

6. I didn't see it but someone else on the board said Dean was stammering
well, hell, if Tweety was being an ass, that would explain it. Because I REFUSE to believe that Dean suddenly became a bullshitter re things like pro-choice vs pro-life.

10. Dean did a very good job of tolerating Tweety's outrageous behavior.

12. It's getting to me that some are siding with Tweety
because he was asking about their pet issue, and they didn't recognize the answer that Dean gave as the answer he always gives re: choice issues.

Yes, sports fans, Clarkie gets all hyped up even when she's defending the Dean.

13. Tweety knows that we will resist using their terminology. Dean was good.
He stayed calm and intelligent, and kept re-iterating his own terminology: Personal civil liberties. Don't allow the government into your life where it doesn't belong. Perfect. He did it without giving the right wingers anything to throw around. No ammo for the children.

I think it was a home run for Dean. And the fact that Tweety got all Zell on him is hysterical.

One big one for us.

18. I'm happy to know others saw it as I did. I would have had to leap over
the desk and grind Tweety's eyes out with a Camel Light. That's why I stay home at the computer and leave the hard stuff to Dean et al. I just saw a video a la another DU'ers sig line earlier where Randy Rhodes was just hammering a rite-wang-mouthpiece..you have to love it when the cameras are there. Posterity and all.

5. It's to make you forget I think
They go where the money is. Of course if he let Dean tell Kerry's plans that would take away the talking point of how democrats don't have any plans. I'm so sick of this crap.

17. Oh man...it was BAD. Tweety did NOT want Dean to talk about Kerry's Iraq
plan or his speech.

It was so obvious that the media's role is to downplay the idea that Dems have any plans to get out of Iraq.

And Dean was really trying to get it out. Damn hard with Tweety stepping all over you with his berating taunts.

4. Tweety read the indictment and realizes that his job may be
on soft ground. He is currying favor with MSNBC. He is such a tool. And this is the telling ground. Tweety is for Tweety, and the country can go to Hell in a handbasket. There is no where else that he can make the amount of money that he is now, and he knows it.

14. Spot on. But I think he'd take the TV audience, even if he didn't make a
dime. If you had to ask him to choose: The money or the camera, he'd be hardballed to let the camera go. What good would it do to sit around in a villa in italy and be forgotten?

19. Saw Tweety ...
he treated Howard Dean with total disrespect. He would never do that to a repuke, he went way over the line. I thought Dean handled it well, kept thinking Tweety wanted to force him over the edge...:grr:

Didn't Tweety say he was having Ken Melman on tomorrow? Let's see how he kisses his $SS, won't hear any hard question's - I'll bet.
